In 2011, Shanghai was the fastest growing city in the world and the most populated city in China, with over 23 million people living in its metropolitan area. Breaking all records and establishing new standards among the world's top mega-cities, Shanghai is beautiful, vibrant and amazing. Yet, for me its real beauty lies within its simplicity, in the daily lives or ordinary people, halfway between intimacy and anonymity.

Various cityscapes of major cities accross AsiaPhotography, Urbanism, Architecture2012 -
This was my first serious photo-essay, it was shot in Hanoi between 2008 and 2010, just before the 1000 years anniversary of the city. Since the opening of Vietnam to the outside world in 1994, the country has been undertaking massive urbanization projects so that today the once quiet and peaceful capital has become a maddening urban jungle. This visual narrative aims to focus on the feeling of awkwardness created by such rapid and somewhat experimental urbanization.Photography, Urban, Documentary2011 -
Myanmar, also known as Burma, is more famous for its political situation than for its underground hip-hop culture. Yet, the capital Rangoon is home to hundreds of rap groups and graffiti crews and the burmese alternative community is probably one of the most dynamic in Asia. I had the chance to visit Rangoon in june 2010 to meet some of the leading members of the local underground scene, presented here in a selection of portraits showing a different face of a country that only gets little exposure to the outside world.Photography, Documentary, Hip-Hop2011
