China Luxury Event Photographer - Audemars Piguet

One of my last jobs in Shanghai was as the photographer for Audemars Piguet luxury watches, presented as a private art exhibition at the Yuz Museum. The Swiss ultra-luxury brand collaborated with French designer Mathieu Lehanneur to create a circular space reflecting the inside of a timepiece, taking visitors into a chronologial journey through the history of the brand and its different influences.

Hong Kong Architecture Photographer - Ports 1961 Pop-Up

Photo documentary about the construction of Ports 1961 event set in Hong Kong, designed and built by Bureau Betak. The venue was a large open concrete structure set on the rooftop of a ferry pier, overlooking Victoria Harbour. I was assigned to capture behind-the-scene moments to showcase the various challenges involved in the making of such a set, as well as architectural views of the completed structure in its context, the way it was used for the event, and how people interacted with the space.

China Luxury Retail Photographer - Berluti, Shanghai

As Shanghai continues to attract more and more luxury names into its thriving market, the French luxury shoemaker Berluti recently opened a new flagship store in Pudong's financial district. For this occasion, the brand invited several high-end craftsmen to display some antique tailoring techniques to a few selected clients. I was assigned by the agency Peter Franklin to photograph and document the skills presented there with an artistic documentary approach, in an effort to showcase the raw materials and noble gestures that have passed through generations.

China Luxury Event Photographer - Shanghai Fashion Week

This week I had the opportunity to take backstage photos for a fashion show in Shanghai, documenting the preparation and off-moments of the event. I worked with my new Nikon D600 on this assignment, which appears to be a surprising and amazing little camera on the field, absolutely suitable for any demanding professional photographer. I was very pleased with the rich, sharp, deep files it produces. The girls were nice, too.
