Singapore Photographer | Corporate Social Responsibility - Coffee Farming

As more and more companies worldwide are now engaging into corporate social responsibilty initiatives, I was recently assigned by the Louis Dreyfus Company to document their CSR training programs for coffee farmers in Vietnam and Indonesia, showcasing the various environments and group activities led by LDC agronomists in a documentary style to illustrate the company's global and regional annual reports. The project took place over a period of 2 weeks and brought us to coffee plantions in the Lam Dong and Dak Lak provinces of Southern Vietnam, as well as North Sumatra and West Lampung regions in Indonesia.

Hong Kong Cruise Photographer - Genting Dream Cruise

A few months ago I was hired on a very special and unusual assignment, shooting advertising visuals onboard a cruise ship for Genting Dream Cruise, departing from Hong Kong and sailing to Vietnam and the Philippines. It was my first time traveling on such a vessel, let alone living on water for 2 weeks with the rest of our team. It was an amazing experience, at times challenging yet overall great fun. It was also my first project working with medium format camera Fujifilm GFX 50s.

Germain Tailors SS017 - Hong Kong Lifestyle Photographer

Good to be back in Asia after a month of travel, and happy to start this new season with a really fun project, working with Germain Tailors on their new Spring Summer 2017 brand campaign in Hong Kong. This time we decided to shoot in the beachside village of Shek O, in the South-East of Hong Kong Island, spending a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Fine white sand, iodine smell, fresh beers, sound of crashing waves... and great tailored outfits to walk around in style.

Hong Kong Architecture Photographer - Ports 1961 Pop-Up

Photo documentary about the construction of Ports 1961 event set in Hong Kong, designed and built by Bureau Betak. The venue was a large open concrete structure set on the rooftop of a ferry pier, overlooking Victoria Harbour. I was assigned to capture behind-the-scene moments to showcase the various challenges involved in the making of such a set, as well as architectural views of the completed structure in its context, the way it was used for the event, and how people interacted with the space.

Hong Kong Industrial Photographer - Goodman Logistics

Documenting large scale industrial projects has always been a personal favorite type of commercial photography. This recent corporate assignment just took me to Hong Kong for a week of shooting, covering several logistic centers in and around the container port of HK, which is one of the largest in the world. The aim of this project was to find high angles over each site to give a good overview of the warehouses and their surrounding environment, as well as to give a sens of the scale of these massive projects. There was a lot of rooftop climbing involved to get this done. Another part of the job was to show the sites in operation, focusing on activities such as transport, storage and delivery of containers.

Personal Project - Hong Kong Architecture Study in Black & White

I came to Hong Kong for the first time in 2008, expecting to find a futuristic metropolis straight out of a fiction movie. My big surprise was to find a city that had been probably very modern at some point in the 70's and which was now slowly decaying in the humidity and heat, with a delicious vintage feel to it. Since then I've been back many times and the unique architectural landscape of this city continues to amaze me every time. In the frame of a personal photographic study on urbanism in Asia, I have worked on several series about architecture and urban spaces around Hong Kong.

Below are some recent out-takes from my latest trip to the island.
