Singapore Corporate Photographer - Idemia, Changi Airport

I was recently assigned by Capa Pictures to document Changi Airport’s new Terminal 4 for digital security company Idemia who have developed all self check-in, facial recognition, finger print recognition, passport scanning and boarding pass scanning tools, from arrival into the terminal all the way to the planes. This new technology is at the very core of Changi Airport’s pride to offer a seamless walk-through experience, placing the terminal on the edge of innovation and helping Singapore continue to set the standard as the smart-city of the future.

Singapore Photographer | Corporate Social Responsibility - Coffee Farming

As more and more companies worldwide are now engaging into corporate social responsibilty initiatives, I was recently assigned by the Louis Dreyfus Company to document their CSR training programs for coffee farmers in Vietnam and Indonesia, showcasing the various environments and group activities led by LDC agronomists in a documentary style to illustrate the company's global and regional annual reports. The project took place over a period of 2 weeks and brought us to coffee plantions in the Lam Dong and Dak Lak provinces of Southern Vietnam, as well as North Sumatra and West Lampung regions in Indonesia.

Hong Kong Cruise Photographer - Genting Dream Cruise

A few months ago I was hired on a very special and unusual assignment, shooting advertising visuals onboard a cruise ship for Genting Dream Cruise, departing from Hong Kong and sailing to Vietnam and the Philippines. It was my first time traveling on such a vessel, let alone living on water for 2 weeks with the rest of our team. It was an amazing experience, at times challenging yet overall great fun. It was also my first project working with medium format camera Fujifilm GFX 50s.

Singapore Architecture Photography

Singapore is an incredible playground for architects and in the past decade has seen world-class flagship projects coming out of the ground such as Interlace by OMA, Reflections at Keppel Bay by Daniel Libeskind, South Beach by Foster and Partners, LaSalle College of the Arts by RSP Architects, Orchard Central by DP Architects or the icnonic Marina Bay Sands by Moshe Safdie.

Singapore's architecture has succesfully developed into its own distinctive style in a hot tropical climate with lush vegetation, placing environmental integration and preservation at the core of its values. Today Singapore is well recongnised as one of the world's greenest cities and as a pioneer in renewable energies, with buildings integrating natural cooling systems, reflective surfaces, open air spaces, cascading gardens and smart landscaping with easy access to parks, water, public transport and outdoor activities facilities.

Here are a few of these projects I recently photographed, and will be back in Singapore soon to continue documenting urban design and architecture. Feel free to get in touch with me for more information or shooting request.

China Industrial Photographer - Ship Recycling

Zhoushan shipyard, just south of Shanghai, is ground zero for a massive recycling process handled by Dutch company Sea 2 Cradle, who are currently dismantling ships and oil rigs for spare parts to be sold and metal to be fused and re-used in other forms.

The process is basically to strip the vessels from all cables, furniture and equipment to keep only the bare structure, then cut the whole thing down in big chunks with gas torches. Those large sections are then set on ground and taken apart by an army of ant-like workers who separate all elements, which are later sent away by trucks to be melted down.
